Aegir X Jōhatsu | “The Edge”

While screenprinting was a hobby turned side hustle, I’m a filmmaker by trade, I live and breath for movies.
I mentionned it quickly here and there, I was writing a screenplay , now I can say “I wrote a screenplay” and it’s called “The Edge” a post apocalyptic thriller/drama シ

Writing the movie was one thing, now it needs to be produce.
I launched a crowdfunding campaign on GofundMe and I’m releasing a tee shirt, with the goal to raise money for the movie production, despite being a indie movie, making one is expensive.
For context, Aegir Studio is the legal framework for my freelance activities into film/video.
And I don’t want it be just a piece of merchandise, so as usual, each t-shirt is handprinted to order on premium blanks, simply featuring the Aegir Studio wordmark, minimal and simple as I like, sorry if you were expecting an “I produced movies, and all I got was this stupid t-shirt”!
Of course I don’t excludto create other designs around that project !

And I decided to experiment with a Name Your Price option, with a base price of 60€ (shipping included). If you’re able to, every extra contribution helps support the film, the brand, and, of course, increase donations to mental health resources, in return you’ll be credited as a producer in “The Edge” credits and get a digital copy of the movie.
Your support means the world to me.

Some quotes from directors I appreciate whom started small too…
With Tetsuo, we had no money, so we improvised. The lack of resources pushed us to be more creative—it was both terrifying and exciting.
.Shinya Tsukamoto

I made Pi for $60,000, with no industry connections, by asking everyone I knew for money. It’s not about waiting for opportunity—it’s about creating it. If you tell a good story, people will forgive the budget.
.Darren Aronofsky

We made Following over weekends with friends and minimal gear. It was about making the best of what we had and sticking to a disciplined schedule. Constraints are a gift because they force you to focus on what really matters: the story.
.Christopher Nolan
