Refunds and Returns Policy
Overview
At Jōhatsu, we stand behind the quality of our screen-printed tees and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns and refunds policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If more than 30 days have passed, we regret that we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
- In its original packaging.
Non-returnable Items
Certain items are non-returnable, including:
- Gift cards
- Limited edition releases and customized products
- Items purchased during clearance or final sales
Proof of Purchase
A receipt or proof of purchase is required to process a return.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be granted for:
- Items with signs of use
- Items not in their original condition or with missing parts not due to our error
- Items returned beyond 30 days of delivery, at our discretion
Refunds Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email. If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within a specified timeframe.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after approval:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company; it may take a few days for the refund to post.
- Reach out to your bank. Processing times may vary.

Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale and clearance items are not refundable.
Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. For exchanges, contact us at fd@aegir.studio and send the item to:

Gifts
If your item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return. If the gift was not directly shipped to you by the giver, we will send the refund to the original purchaser.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted.
For expensive items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance to ensure the safe arrival of your return.
